other government officials why JW's don't vote. Most will say because I'am told

they are no part of this world,but they obey the laws of the land.

True but the main reason, they believe you are tools of Satan. It's bad enough to say you are not part of

this world but to say Satan is running the Government, spooky, spooky.

I believe the media will have fun with that.LOL

Now some of you may beleive this may be the case today (the candidates for president),

but most sane folks don't believe Satan is ruling the world.

a call from the Police dept. and they ask me to walk outside and describe what I am wearing. There were

a dozen cops in front of my house.Man I felt like an ass.I was told to stay outside while they check my home.

They realized I pushed the wrong button by mistake but they still walked through the house.

I apologized for my stupidity because it took them away from more important duties. The officer in charge

told me no problem and thank me for serving in the military, he noticed my military photo while checking my home.

My point the respond time in my city is amazing, how is it in your city???

Unfortunately the Police don't receive credit for all their duties. Over the years I have had encounters with

our local Police and I must say in our small city we have one of the best Police dept. in Southern Calif.

Talking with one of the officers outside while the other officers checking my home told me we must

keep it a secret, our community is very safe...

I still feel like an idiot, I will catch hell from the old lady when she get home.

The overall crime rate in my city is 31% lower than the national average. We are safer than 61% of

cities in the U.S. There is a 1 in 49 chance of becoming a victim of ANY crime.

This is all due to our Police Dept. I may add I only live three blocks from our Police station.

Any Peugeot owners around here?

i was wondering since there are a lot of uk users (at first i didn't notice that) if there is some peugeot owners here, clearly not from the us, the brand and also citroën has no presence in north america... in my city (santiago) you can see almost every car brand from chinese to european... in my apartment's parking lot there are toyotas, hondas, a porsche (that is abandoned, a carrera 911 turbo from 1989), even an old lancia, alfa romeo, nissan, renault, citroën, a camaro, suzuki, sköda, bmw, an old mecerdes, daewoos, kias, hyundais, an old vw beetle and a scirocco, few chinese, an audi, a dodge ram.

even a maserati in a house two blocks away etc etc.. and my 307 :)

I owned a 1960-67 Peugeot back in the 70's and a 1985 Yugo in the 90's.

I wish I still owned the Peugeot but the Yugo don't miss it.

The jokes I heard about my Yugo.LOL

Is this the last chance for inactive and df'd ones?

hi all, just wondering if there's anything going around about the elders receiving instruction from the society to give inactive ones and disfellowshipped ones one last chance to come back?

i ask because i have a still in family member that i received a message from, and urging me to go back.

the elders are apparently saying there is no time left.

I believe their message would be more affective by stating, you never know what tomorrow when bring

so get your life right with Jehovah instead of trying to scare the crap out of people with the gloom and doom

message of total destruction of every man, woman and child. Sure you may have a heart attack tomorrow

but if someone told me, "Jim you will die next week, your heart will give out'. I will have a week

of misery or die early just thinking about it. Just stop with the end of the world sh--t.......

We all know the story of Daniel in the lions den. King Darius and Daniel best of friends, so

what happen. Well it seemed the governors and satraps were jealous of Daniel and plotted to bring

him down. They sought to find some charge against Daniel concerning the kingdom, so Daniel end

up in the lions den. We all know the story he survived, he told the King Darius angels shut the mouths of

the lions I guess they forgot about their claws that needed a bit of disinfecting. And then he kisses up to

the King by telling him "O king live forever".

Who remember the rest of the story? This is when the sh--t get crazy.

After the king find out about the plan to bring Daniel down..... Daniel 6:24 "and they brought those

men who had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions (now this is where it gets sick) them,

their children, and their wives: and the lions overpowered them, and broke all their bones in pieces before

they ever came to the bottom of the den".

There is some sick sh--t in the Bible.

So that chapter ends at Daniel 6:28 "So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius". I can see why, who

in the hell is stupid enough to say anything against Daniel you may end up as food for the lions.

at a recent meeting there was a watchtower article about life in paradise.

they were saying that even when witnesses finally get there they will still be under the strict instructions from the elders and gb.

they may be given jobs that they will find unpleasant, also the preaching work will be ongoing because of all the resurrected people who need to learn about why they are given another chance.
